Recognizing Youth Who Make a Difference

Clarkston Area Youth Assistance's Youth Recognition Program is known for its beloved April event, the Youth Recognition Ceremony and Dessert Reception!

​Clarkston area children and adolescents, Young Fives to grade 12, are recognized and celebrated for working on their personal well-being and/or for demonstrating their concern for the well-being of others.  The honorees contribute to the well-being of their classroom, school, and community.

2026 Youth Recognition Ceremony

The 2026 ceremony was a wonderful evening of celebrating and recognizing 70 remarkable Clarkston youth!  Thank you to the many nominators who nominated honorees and for the dignitaries who attended and offered congratulations to these special youth!  And most of all, thank you to the families who came out for this inspiring event!
